The “Lune di Latte” exhibition by Camille Henrot
The “Lune di Latte” exhibition by the French artist Camille Henrot was held at the Museo Madre in Naples from July 1 to October 3, 2016.
With “Lune di Latte”, Henrot reinterprets the days of the week and the historical meanings attributed to them. The exhibition at Museo Madre is characterized by an alternation of drawings and collages, wall paintings and seven sculptures in different materials, each one dedicated to a day of the week.
Fonderia Nolana has collaborated with Camille Henrot for the creation of the sculptures with the production of sketches made of different materials and in digital format by using 3D scanning.
The sculptures on display at the Museo Madre are made of marble, white bronze, wood and resin.
To make them, the artist used the production techniques of wood milling with surface finishing, marble milling, 3D printing, lost-wax casting, and resin casting.
